How Do I Continue to Hear Sound in Wow When I Tab Out

Question regarding a sound I hear very often in WoW lately. I've been noticing lately, no matter where I go in WoW, every minute or so, I hear what sounds kind of like a dragon roar. If you guys need me to get video-audio footage of it, I can do so. Maybe some people know it as a bug, however. I just find it kind of annoying and distracting from some of the music, especially the older very nostalgic music I like to enjoy in TBC zones. It takes away from the atmosphere, but other than nerdy things like this, I just want to know what's up with this sound. - - - Updated - - -
I will add, it seems to happen most often in Outlands, but it was never there before, especially back in TBC as I recall.

Ah I hear it too around Terokkar Forest as well, I guess it's just a sound that they added for immersion. Tbh it sounds like a basilisk ready for mating xD

I am pretty sure that sound has been there since BC. Terrokar is also the place I recall hearing it the most.

In Terokkar its related to Teribus the Cursed (http://www.wowwiki.com/Teribus_the_Cursed) and I believe he makes the sound whenever he is summoned for the quest, even tho he constantly hovers over Auchidon. No idea what could cause it in other zones tho. A bug maybe. Or maybe you have a dragon companion out and following you, some of them make noises.

Going to do a good amount of stuff though out in the wild, run through MC etc, going to see if I hear it! Thanks for the help though!

Well, I know Basilisks have those special sounds all the time. And Crocodiles as well? I think.
